Ilulissat Art Museum, Ilulissat

Take a break from the hiking and icebergs to enjoy Greenlandic art at Ilulissat Art Museum. The museum has several exhibits--some permanent, others temporary. Visit the ground floor to see Emanuel A. Petersen's work, which documents the landscape and people of Greenland. Upstairs arrangements usually change four times a year. Stop in the little gift shop afterwards for posters, postcards, and books, and ask the staff any questions you might have about the exhibits. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Ilulissat holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Ilulissat Art Museum and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
