One of the island's most scenic and unspoiled beaches, Gerakas Beach boasts golden sand and clear turquoise water. Rent a lounge chair or go for a dip along the calm, shallow shore. Amenities here are more limited than many beaches in the area, so bring a lunch or snacks and lots of water. Please be aware that this is a protected area of the National Marine Park and an important nesting ground for loggerhead turtles. Watch for any nests you may disrupt and if you are lucky enough to see a turtle hatch, do not disturb it. Wonderful and quiet beach. There are only sunbeds for rental and in order to eat or drink you need to walk about 200 m to nearest restaurant. However, it is one of my favorites beaches.

The beach is very well maintained. No garbage lying around. And the water..water was crystal clear. You could see up to 10 meters away underwater. Also, there is free parking and a restaurant right next to the beach. Had a lot of fun here. Really an awesome experience!
