Poros is due south of Athens about an hour away by hydrofoil giving easy access to both the Saronic & Argolic gulfs which provide safe sheltered sailing, excellent for families.

Took a week flotilla around the Saronic gulf mid-september with Tom and Josie as our lead boat, both very friendly, competent, and great service to all guests The organisation before and during our trip was smooth and very well done. Staff were friendly and accommodated requests and made sure everyone was comfortable. Our 35ft Jeanneau was comfortable to sail and suited well our needs as first time sailing trippers. Would highly recommend greek sails to anyone tempted to explore the beautiful aegean.

Had the BEST time with Greek Sails, we hired the full boat for ourselves, 9 people, and absolutely loved it. Our skipper was amazing, really professional and we felt like we were very in safe hands (not being sailors ourselves). The towns we visited were gorgeous (and good value for food / shopping etc) and the bays we stopped at were amazing. We had 6 nights but could easily have had more. Would love to come back and do it again!
