This is a very challenging hike and definitely a grade 1 hard. Take a minimum 1.5 liters of water per person. This is a proper workout and I felt the effects days after. All in all it took us around.... more »

Views on top are magnificent. Make sure you go beyond the monastery, as views get exponentially better afterwards. About 2.5h going up, and 1.5h going down. more »

Well worth a climb. The view from the summit is spectacular with some great views over the town and the monastery along the way. The route is clearly marked all the way from the town. There is a paved path from the town to monastery and then a trail the rest of the way. Would not recommend attempting it in the summer though!
