Harriet treats her horses well. This is what s most important to me. This said, the ride was very pleasant but it was on a standard path, which means you can do it on foot saving the 37€. If you like a horse ride it s worth it but still, it s not as if you go on a freestyle horse ride. There is a guide who is walking the horses forward on foot. However, given how people usually treat horses and donkeys on Hydra, this is definitely one of the best rides you can take if you decide to take one!

We had a fantastic time (as beginners!) with Harriet and her amazing horses, Dennis and Zeus. You could tell how much they were like after and loved as they were very graceful, yet strong creatures. Definitely a highlight of our holiday. Thank you, Harriet!
