I've seen this site described as a smaller version of Mystras. And let's face it if you're in this part of Greece you HAVE been to Mystras, right? So no need to visit here then? Well actually... more »

Not as extensive as Mystra but has its own unique ambience. Almost deserted but with very helpful staff. Magnificent small Byzantine churches with excellent frescoes. A long climb up to the castle... more »
