We have done this before by visiting other olive oil presses, and this one captures the authenticity of the process. You get to taste their olive oil and you can purchase some too. more »
Really interesting to see the old olive press. There is also a gift shop/cafe where you can sample and purchase different olive oils and preserves. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. A nice place to visit in the afternoon😊
Would not arrive early or as soon as they open. We were traveling with our eleven month old daughter and had to wait outside for about 25 minutes in the heat. Luckily we had a beach towel from the hotel to use as extra shade for her. The employee welcomed us inside about ten minutes after they opened and said they actually don’t open until 10:20 and she would offer us a tour then. I would have had no problem with this but all of their signs say they open at 10:00. With that said, she was a very friendly lady and gave us a nice tour and tasting. The tour actually only takes about 7 minutes and there is a single room with all the pressing equipment so it’s a very quick stop. We enjoyed olive oil cake and coffee after. We did notice that it did get very busy as we were leaving. The space for the tasting is small so can get crowded easily but they have a nice patio. I feel our experience would have been great if we didn’t get off to such an awkward start.
