The Museum of Islamic Ceramics is an art museum for ceramics in central Cairo, Egypt. The museum was launched in February 1999.
The museum is located in the Zamalek district on Gezira Island on the Nile, just west of Downtown Cairo. It is situated within the Prince Amr Ibrahim Palace, built in 1921.

  • One of the most beautiful museums in Athens. Great galleries representing most periods and styles of Islamic Art. Magnificent view from the roof top. Look for the remains of the ancient Athens' wall in the basement.
  • Very nice collection. I love the way the different phases and epochs in history are displayed on different floors (elevator available) and have a map of the world during that time with a short summary of this period.
