Triberger Waterfall is one of the highest falls in Germany. Visit the cascade to watch it flow 163 m (535 ft) down from the mountains through the town of Triberg. You can follow along the Gutach River as its splits into multiple smaller tributaries, enjoying the hilly, forested countryside around you. Feel free to wander any of the three sign-posted trails. You also may enjoy a stop at the waterfall's small, namesake village. The falls are illuminated after dark. Parking is available in Triberg. Triberger Waterfall reviews
Me and my partner came here after a 6 mile trek it was at mile 6 which we planned this waterfall. When we got there we found out you had to wear your mask all the time outside which is OK but... more »
Not for me. Firstly check the time of year and therefore the water flow. But the whole town is a shrine to the waterfall. Very managed, covered in tourist tat shops, queue to pay to go in from... more »
A very pleasant and easy hike with a very pretty waterfall and trees all around to shade you from the sun. We bought a bag of peanuts to feed the squirrels as well. Shame the only thing we ended up feeding was a bird with blue plumage we had to imagine was a squirrel. I would advice not to waste money on the peanuts as the squirrels are probably all full from the peanuts they ate from tourists who came before you or have grown tired of peanuts and have moved onto find something else that tickles their palate!
What a wonderful place is Triberg 😃 This comes under Black Forest 🌳 which is known world wide. Triberg is a small town and is really beautiful. It has a waterfall which will give you goosebumps and will pump you up. It’s a small track and you have to hike little bit to enjoy the beauty of it. In this Place you will find dark Brown-Black colour squirrels 🐿. One of the famous clock museum is in Triberg and I would request you to spend some time there and you will feel great. It has a really amazing history of clocks from 18th century till present. There is a small train museum too near by. I hope you will enjoy the city when you will visit.
