  • If you’re anywhere nearby, this is a stunning must visit. A water-gouged crevice right out of Lord of the Rings; I expected to see Rivendell around every twist of the path. It’s a particularly nice...  more »
  • One on the best gorges to visit, and it has a mostly level and paved/gravel path. If you have a choice between this gorge and the one in Sonthofen, see this one!  more »

  • Somethings can't be described in words, they can only be felt. Walk through this gorge was one such experience. It felt as if I was walking in a winter wonderland. Simply beautiful!!! :)) Tip- 1. Please wear good winter shoes, otherwise you'll slip like some of us. 2. Be very cautious while using your phone and walking at the same time. I was making a video and slipped a little. A good grip saved my phone. 3. Start from the top and walk your way down. Smart, no? ;)
  • We didn't get to go inside as the place was closed after a huge snowstorm. But whatever little we got to see there was beautiful. As you can see in both pictures, ice is hanging. That's the major highlight of this place. We hope to go here again especially to see the beautiful hanging ice we have heard so much about. Best time for us would be winter but summer is as beautiful in a different way.
