Teufelshoehle Pottenstein, which translates to "devil's cave," is 1,500 m (4,900 ft) long--the longest in Germany. The name comes from the unexplained disappearance of livestock in the vicinity, the remains of which were eventually found upon full exploration of the cave. Take a tour of the caves to learn about the many rock formations and even see the skeleton of a bear that met its demise by falling into the cave. Tours are available in German and English.
