The looped trail makes it easy to go up and quick to come down. Even if you have a stroller as we saw many people with young kids. Our older children enjoyed looking for the animals within their... more »

The good thing is that there's no entrance fee here, only the parking costs a bit and otherwise you can make a small donation. Also, it wasn't crowded at all, even though the weather was excellent... more »

The vistor centre has an excellent indoor play area for children and also the restaurant was above average for this sort of place. The round trip walk from the car park past the lynx and wolves is great for families. The animals have huge enclosures, which means they have lots of places to hide from tourists. We didn't spot any lynx, and only 1 wolf after 15 minutes of watching. Kids had a great time nevertheless as they were entertained by the forest itself.
