Uwe Dune, Kampen

4.8
Climb the 110 wooden steps to the viewing platform at Uwe Dune, and gaze over sands and sea on one side and tranquil dunes and cliffs on the other. If the weather permits, you can see the whole island and all the way to the German-Danish mainland. Look for signs on the platform that explain the views. The dune bears the name of Uwe Jens Lornsen, a 19th-century lawyer and civil servant. From the dune, you can also follow the path that leads to the red cliff.
