    Take the South exit from Gorlitz railway station, turn left then up Jakobstraße where this imposing red brick cathedral rises magnificently. When we visited we were the only visitors. The lighting...  more »

    Very beautiful church. Recently renovated.

    The interior lighting only radiates downwards. Thus, this church seems too dark in the morning and evening hours. Thanks to additional LED lamps, which are still attached to the old lamps above, good lighting can be provided. Where did the matching baptismstone where I was baptized remain? Is there sufficient protection in the event of lightning and electrical overvoltages? Dipl. Ing. Norbert Bursch
