  • With slight reservations we went to the Schirn for the exhibition with the musical instruments and we were caught by a guided tour that was taking place. The explanations were brought over top, unfortunately the rather extravagant musical instruments could not be tried. It was a very exciting exhibition, but without a guided tour the access would not have taken place.

  • Our feelings are a little mixed. As usual, not all modern works of art are affordable, sometimes they seem banal and one wonders where the originality is. But the most disappointing thing about this interesting concept, which is to make sounds with lots of different objects, is that you can't (except for 2) touch the "instruments", you can't make them "sing". Fortunately, we were able to follow a guided tour, led by a teacher passionate about her subject. The museum has recently added videos that illustrate their sounds. fortunately! One criticism remains: everything is in German, not even leaflets in English.

  • Loved the idea behind this particular gallery based on unorthodox musical instruments. But I give 4 not 5 because it should be more clear to the public that to really enjoy the soul of the musical instruments mixed into your living space you had to be there for certain times of the day on certain times of the week. I saw a guitar made completely from parts of guns... Very cool
  • Permanent exhibition? No. No collection. No stock. So all is changing often and they have to beg for any item to be exposed here. And this is performed in an outstanding way. Many fabulous exhibitions have been composed over the years with item that have not been released before or never been relinquished to third parties. On my Top list: Miro, infinite jest, German PoP Art,
