  • This is collection of King Augustus is very impressive if you are into porcelain. There is plenty to see . In all fairness we had just spent 5 hours in the Green Vault and were very tired.  more »

This collection totaled 35,000 examples at its peak (currently 20,000 objects, of which about 2,000 are in the museum). All this was collected by Frederick Augustus the first. ... A very beautiful and incredibly rich collection of porcelain. Some instances are simply amazing and for a long time are able to attract attention to themselves. This museum can definitely be advised for a visit. As well as the other two located in Zwinger(picture collection and the hall of mathematical and physical instruments).
