  • Pillnitz is a charming small park-palace complex. Palaces are distinguished by other such European objects, because they are stylized for Japanese palaces. The gardens are nicely maintained, nice to take a stroll.

  • Even after the flood again beautifully landscaped park with orangery. Recommended by paddle steamer or even tram from the city centre and ferry accessible via the Elbe. Gastronomy and beer garden available (partly other Elbe side accessible by ferry)

  • Spent a wonderful day there. Most of the exhibition was in English and German. Beautiful gardens. We were most impressed by the price. It was very affordable, and our entry fee covered a lot of different exhibitions. Definitely worth going there!
  • What a location. We stayed at the hotel. Rooms are clean. Excellent power shower. The restaurant was excellent. The staff are very polite and helpful. The palace gardens are a nice walk, and the view across the river is great. Take a trip on the paddle steamer into Dresden, it made a fantastic day.
