  • Just before the façade of the stopwatch stand a monument to the German sculptor Ernst Ritchell (Ernst Rietschel) (1804-1861). This bronze bust, created by his disciple Johannes Schilling (Johannes Schilling), was installed here in the year 1876. Once on this place there was a studio Ritchela. A bust (twice the size of a natural value) stands on a column with three bas-reliefs depicting, respectively, history, poetry and religion. On the pedestal around the column housed sculptural images of young men, symbolizing drawing, modeling and work cutter-the main forms of craft sculptor.
