Bruhl's Terrace, Dresden

4.6
Nicknamed "the balcony of Europe," Bruhl's Terrace offers superb views of the River Elbe. Take a walk down the terrace to admire the historic buildings and picturesque surroundings. Pause near the Johann Friedrich Böttger monument to look for a fingerprint in the guardrail of the terrace garden. It is said to have been left by August the Strong and to be proof of his strength. Pop into a cafe, sip a coffee, and watch the mix of tourists and locals walk by. • From the terraces you have a beautiful view of the handsome buildings and the Elbe. If the weather is nice, don't forget to visit the Brühl Gardens, because then you can sit on a bench.

  • The whole of old Dresden is a cultural and historical masterpiece and a World Heritage Site, including this terrace, which was called the "Balcony of Europe". The views are amazing, there is a green area, places to relax, where you can enjoy all this slowly.

  • Face of historical city Dresden. Its a great terrace on the brink of Elbe river, where you can have a majestic view of city and river. Its a must go place for visitors, as it is very close to the other historical monuments of Dresden. Visit this place to have an idea of the capital city of old and famous kingdom of Prusia.
  • Relaxing place to view the bridge. Great shade with some trees on part of it. Nice violin music was playing. Good spot to rest.
