I came here with my two kids and what a surprise a museum full with nice helicopters and a great possibility for everyone to understand and to study how this part of aviation works. Definitely worth..... more »

We tried to visit last year but ran out of time. This year we took time out especially to look round. What a truly enlightening experience. My wife thought she would be bored by the technology etc... more »

I didn't expect to find a helicopter museum in the middle of a picturesque town like Bückeburg. After a bit of research I found out that the nearby airfield was once RAF Bückeburg. The German airforce still use it as a helicopter base. The museum has 50 plus exhibits and is well worth a visit. It also has a fully functional simulator which is available as an extra.
