  • For our stay in Berlin we looked for an Escape Room, which can also be used with 7 people. Curse of Pharaoh is one of the few where this is possible without simply playing a room against each other. You start the adventure divided into two groups and then meet in the course of the game to live through the finale together. We hadn't been aware of the initial separation before and unfortunately a little bit clouded the fun when you prepare to start right away with all your friends. Since there were four newcomers and four children (11-14) among us, it was not easy to find a good division. In the end, however, we succeeded. The scenery is great and built with great attention to detail. The puzzles are certainly good for newcomers; compared to other Escape Rooms, but somewhat uninspired. It was the first time for me that text puzzles were "read out" to me, which had to be solved orally. We didn't like that, but most of all that our guide (who probably had to coach both sub-teams at the same time) overheard our correct answer. At the beginning, one had to solve a game of patience, which ate a lot of time and can only be served by one person alone. Later there were two small mechanical problems that cost us a little nerve and time. The tips from the coach were helpful, the staff in general super friendly and we got it out in time. The fun was still there; we would all go back, but probably before that we would play through the rooms in the competition three streets further; they convinced us a little more this time. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would do that - but unfortunately for 5 it wasn't enough.

  • Our mission: to find the legendary stone of Iseth and leave the pyramid within an hour. The difficulty, however, is that the participants are divided into 2 groups at the beginning and only get together just before the end. The puzzles/spatial design: The tasks can all be assigned to the topic of Egypt and pyramids in the broadest sense and are therefore quite coherent. Fortunately, there are only 2 number/letter locks, so the tasks were mainly carried out with technical ingenuity. You shouldn't be distracted by a match. That ended up tying up plenty of capacity - and wasn't part of the game at all. The rooms are attractively designed, fit perfectly with the history and are largely identical for both groups. Two tasks "hooked" a little, so that the method "try-and-error" helped. It turned out to be a little unfortunate that the container with the stone of Iseth was already open with us. We only had to intervene and were then asked by the game manager to put the stone back and close the container again - here the preparation should have been better. Verdict: Overall well done. The high price of 160 € for 5 people inevitably leads to a comparison with other high-priced suppliers of Berlin. And there was something more on offer at "The Room" or "Utopia". Why can't you make a decent group picture in one of the rooms, as is also possible with other providers? We played five - I wouldn't recommend more players.

  • We did 2 rooms yesterday, both with very nice design and good atmosphere. Staff was also very friendly. Can easily recommend to everyone.
  • I've played two games here, both of them really good and interesting. It's a short time to be honest, I would propose a bigger game of 2 hours. Because when you are together in a big group the time goes fast. There is one big problem here, the multimedia system, the quality difference between the staff voice and the game voice is big. There are noises coming up together with the sound system and that makes the listening hard. There is another thing, the camera didn't work in the end, it would be so nice to have that photo with the group together.
