Once seized by the Nazis and used as a bunker, Hotel Zum Turken, built in 1911 and rebuilt in 1950, now serves as an upscale hotel. Although the guestrooms are modern, visitors can still descend a spiral staircase to explore the historic, 1943 underground hallways and tunnels where SS soldiers once hid out. (Many guests say it's a spooky experience.) With no tour guides available, you're on your own to explore; take a German/English dictionary if you can't read the local language. He stayed at the Berghof, right next to Hotel Zun Turken. As the fox he was, he had leghold times where he could hide, and with many exits! One of them in Hotel zum Turken. It is possible from the hotel to get to the bunkers plant in the underground, where you can experience the ingenious tunnel system that was constructed. However, access to Hitler, private chambers, has been mucked. Likewise, the tunnel to Martin Bormann, S Bunker muret. The Berghof was bombarded in 1945, but was not completely destroyed, it tried the SS so to do, by setting fire to the remnants. In 1954, the German state ragged the building with the Earth. Today, only the remnants of the foundation are visible.

The House of Hitler is bombarded flat but the corridors of the House to the hotel have remained intact. Unbelievable that people hands have ever made this. One asks for a small entrance. It's cold downstairs so do some more clothes.
Bunker interesting. Woman who works there isn't pleasant.
Very nice hotel. Piece of history. Great location. Great views. Coolest (old school) bar ever. Very authentic feel, go back in time for real, not faked. Staff makes you feel very welcome.
