Opened in 1991, the park bursts with lush vegetation providing a safe home for several species of monkeys and monitor lizards. Well-maintained trails with many seating areas provide plenty of chances to walk under the forest canopy and observe African fan palms and dune vegetation. Featuring over 100 bird species, the park serves as an ideal bird-watching spot--keep you eyes peeled for bee-eaters, grey hornbills, and ospreys.     You can buy nuts a bananas on site but seemed expensive. We were there early, at 9ish but not a monkey to be seen. We sat and rested for awhile after walking the perimeter (it's a wooded area so...  more »
