Military Museum · Hidden Gem · History Museum
Musee D-Day Omaha is primarily the work of an enthusiast by the name of Michel Brissard. After years of research, Michel decided to exhibit his collection, paying tribute to the soldiers who died in the Battle of Normandy. Located in a period building (an American hospital during the landings), the museum houses a private collection composed of rare objects (such as an Enigma machine, Higgins boat, and German equipment), which have remained in their original state and illustrate technological advances in wartime.
