  • Lake Forlet (or Trout) is a very bucolic and charming place. To get there, however, you have to take a very degraded road for several kilometers, which can put off drivers who like smooth roads with beautiful shoulders. Hikers can access the nearest summit via a trail overlooking the lake. Lightly above the lake, a farm-inn welcomes you to taste at all hours the local specialties (including Munster and Bargkass cheeses).

  • Trout Lake is a small lake nestled at the foot of a glacial circus. From this lake and its farm inn, you can reach the Faing Grass and overlook it.

  • one of the most beautiful lakes in the Vosgien massif, the lake is located just under the grass of the faing. A very good hostel to eat or quench your thirst on hikes that will be successful anyway if they pass by this lake. The rise of the lake to the grass of the faing is rather sporty, but well worth the detour.

  • 1:30 hour hike from Wettstein Pass. Then, from this Lake of the Forlet (lake of trout), we either return to the pass, or we go up to the ridge, for 1/2 H on a very steep and yaw terrain, to descend to the black lake. And from this lake, we go back to the pass through the high huts. All this takes an hour and a third time to walk. It's a difficult level.
