Castle of Sedan is a grand medieval fortress covering an area of 35,000 sq m (114830 sq ft) on seven floors. Discover the bastions, ramparts, walkways, and the many techniques and tricks that made the castle an impregnable fortress in the past. The circuit is lined with various scenes of daily life of the princes, soldiers, and households in the area. Tour guides are available all summer, and paper guides in English are available all year. The fortress contains the office of tourism for Sedan, as well as a three-star hotel. There is also a museum inside the castle with a room dedicated to the war of 1870 including a rich collection of Prussian helmets.     A nice castle to look at, and it's very big! However if you take the audioguide it goes very slow and could use a rework. Best part is the miniature of the city near the end. Also if it's raining take an umbrella; if you walk the audioguide you have to walk outside.

    Huge place of which we get to see a small chunk. The parts you can visit are impressive. You probably don't need the audio guide, and you'll likely get lost along the way, but that's half the fun.
