The house is a big farm with two levels and an attic. Furniture and artifacts are unimpressive We toured it in a few minutes The view isn't worth the detour either, as the house is in a small valley more »

Une plongée au coeur d'une véritable Etche (maison traditionnelle basque) restaurée dans son état du XVIIe siècle. Nous avons aimé l'authenticité du lieu, l'état superbe du bâtiment et des meubles. Une mention spéciale au guide qui incarne véritablement l'âme basque et qui a très bien su nous transmettre les spécificités du mode de vie basque. Attention, accessible uniquement en visite guidée, et nombre de place limité, il est possible de réserver par internet. Places de parking disponibles sur place.

A dive into the heart of a real Etche (traditional Basque house) restored to its 17th century state. We liked the authenticity of the place, the superb condition of the building and the furniture. A special mention to the guide who truly embodies the Basque soul and who has very well conveyed to us the specifics of the Basque way of life. Attention, accessible only on a guided tour, and limited space, it is possible to book via the internet. Parking spaces available on site.
