A very nice place, where you can walk around, but you quickly went around. The price of the ticket is therefore relatively expensive for what there is to see. However, the place remains "mythical" due to the presence of Van Gogh.View original -

Nice to visit the monastery briefly and taste the atmosphere of where Vincent van Gogh stayed for a time. You can either walk from St. Remy de Provence (Little Mountain) or by car. There is also ample parking space. You can only buy some drinks from a vending machine.View original

I used to think Van Gogh's use of colors were super exaggerated and interpreted, but after visiting here and seeing through some of the windows down to the gardens, my thoughts changed as the colors of nature here are very much as vibrant as his paints...even on a rainy day. Especially when the curator juxtaposed the prints of some of his works with their actual views respectively, the relationship is uncanny. Entrance was 7€ for Adults. Also, FREE PARKING !
