  • We went in in early evening when the Basilica was due to close. An amazing space with startling white stone interior. Looked at from the back of the Basilica it appears to bend to the right three...  more »
  • This church totally dominates a very tired looking town. It took me a bit of working out to find the actual entrance. Inside is actually stunning and being just after Easter was full of flowers...  more »

  • At this moment superb nursery built by the volunteers. To discover as much as the architecture of the Basilica. You can also ask for a guide that will explain everything about the Basilica. Very interesting.

  • Beautiful, wonderful, immense and grandiose place. The light is extraordinary as well as the whiteness of the pillars and the stained glass windows that allow the sun to pass through. Sometimes in the late afternoon the sun passes through the stained glass windows and the colours are on the pillars with stains of colour. It's magical! You can see it from afar... I tell myself that God must be Great for men to have built churches, basilicas, cathedrals like this... It's a place where you feel good. We want to praise God the creator and the creators... The statues, the shapes, the stained glass windows, the paintings, the choir, the high vaults of this place tell its life, its history and the history of Christians. Don't hesitate. Worth a visit...
