Chateau de Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

#2 of 12 in Things to do in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
Picture this in your mind, a gorgeous and mind-blowing old stone castle with awe-inspiring architecture and which offers breath-taking panoramic views of the picturesque roofs of the village, the sea, Cap Martin , the Principality of Monaco , the Mount Angel . Chateau de Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is just that and more. The old dungeons here are practically the oldest that can be found in Paris. Since this castle was built primarily with the motive of defense, you can see fortified gates around the fortress and also artilleries of yester years. The old world charm is carefully preserved here with cobbled narrow streets and ivy-clad moss-walls.
