One of the most popular wildlife parks in France, Parc Animalier de Sainte-Croix was established in 1980 by a farmer named Gerald Singer. Situated in the center of the Lorraine Rhodes Natural Park, the park’s main draw is its rich biodiversity. Follow any of its three trails to see some of the 1,600 animals that live here. Though the park is teeming with wildlife, the different species of European and Arctic wolves are a special draw. Bears, bison, lynx, and deer also roam the park. Visit the island of lemurs to observe these curious primates at close range. Excellent à beaucoup de points de vue ! Dont la maison de Némo reliée avec des ponts de cordes, traversés tant par des petits enfants que des personnes avec problèmes de vertige !! more »Excellent in many ways! Including the house of Nemo connected with rope bridges, crossed by small children as well as people with vertigo problems!!

The lodges are very nice and the park also especially as there were very few people. We also loved the proximity to the animals, the grandeur and the wooded environment of the park.
This is truly a magical place to spend the day ... And the "guides" are extremely friendly, funny and interesting when presenting the various species to the public. I totally recommend that you start the day by taking the new "train ride" which trundles you around the Park with a guided commentary, and which will in particular allow you to access parts of the Animal Reserve which you cannot see on your own when visiting on foot. Fantastic for families, but not only ! 100% recommended :-)
Beautiful parc with large enclosures and open spaces for the animals. Only the birds were in a more confined space but not terrible small. There are good helpful signs for the route. The only downside I have experienced was that not all signs are translated to English or German but I have the idea that that is a work in progress
