Ranked "garden prestige type 1" by the city of Rennes, Parc du Thabor is a public park on more than 10 hectares (24 acres) of land with a mix of French gardens, an English garden, and a large botanical garden. Its name refers to Mount Tabor, the mountain overlooking the Sea of ??Galilee in Israel. The monks of Saint-Melaine Abbey started their vegetable gardens here in the 18th century, and that tradition of growing botanicals has persisted since then.   • Love this garden.we always visit this place on our visits to Rennes. Good restaurant in the park. So pretty and relaxing, beautiful displays of flowers and wonderful tree's. Good play area for children.
