Formerly the palace of the archbishop, Palais du Tau houses a huge collection of tapestries and robes worn during the coronation of 32 French kings from the 11th century to Charles X in 1825. Several statues that were rescued and restored from the cathedral's façade are available for you to view, and the second floor has a terrific view of the cathedral.   • This Museum allows to understand "hands on" how the Catholic Church was able to "control" centuries of French rulers. Well made movie about coronation and impressive "treasure" on display.  more »

  • It was okay, good thing it has detailed description and historic explanation of certain builduing and status.
  • My visit here was OK, but no English so didn't really know what i was looking at most of the time. Spent about an hour inside. It was free entry for me, but i wouldn't pay to enter otherwise.
