  • Our family loves living history museums, and this is one of the best we have ever seen!!! From friendly staff dressed in their period clothing, to the demonstrations, samples, and dancing, it perfectly highlighted the history, not to mention it's location in the gorgeous rolling hills of the French countryside. A reasonable drive from Nantes, we also highly recommend eating at Gallets de Anton on the way back if you go out to spend a day too. The next time we're out here we're definitely coming back!
  • This has been really well imagined and executed. Even with teenage children we stayed for three hours. A video introduces you to the local life as it was, there is plenty to see, including a bakery and a restaurant. Best of all, though, are the traditional outdoor games - not just a few but many.
