No sure where "slightly touristy village" went but it wasn't Portbail. Market day is Tuesday and has been for the last 20 years, Monday is Briquebec. This is a very special town in a unique position..... more »

Lovely place to visit, we went to an exhibition in the old church of modern paintings, wondered around and also went to the church where the stained glass windows were modern and exceptional. more »
