Of the two lighthouses, the taller Phare du Cap Fréhel is 30 m (98 ft) high with 145 steps. It was built in 1950 with a beam said to be one of the strongest of all lighthouses, reaching up to 110 km (68 mi). The large main quarters are decorated with a 8 sq m (26 sq ft) fresco dedicated to leading the Côtes d'Armor.   • Though there is a parking fee, the entrance to the grounds is free. If you want to climb up to the top of the tower it costs more. I enjoyed just strolling the area around the building and sitting in....  more »
  • Very interesting with great views. Lots to see with some great walks around the peninsula. Only €3 to climb the lighthouse and €3 to park.  more »
