Cap Fréhel, Plevenon

#2 of 78 in Historic Sites in Cotes-d'Armor
Must see · Lighthouse · Historic Walking Area
You won’t find any towns or villages on Cap Fréhel peninsula. The marshes and moorland make it difficult to construct structures on the peninsula, and the cliffs surrounding the site make it difficult to access it by sea. Your best access route is by walking the Sentier des Douaniers path to the wild, windswept area to view seabirds at the reserve, historic lighthouses, and a fortified castle straight out of a fairytale. Make Cap Fréhel a centerpiece of your Plevenon vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Plevenon trip itinerary builder app.

  • This is such a beautiful place to spend a day in nature with family, friends etc. there are many hiking trails around this area which leads to different view points. As the place is towards north of France, weather can be uncertain but in any case, the landscape views will not turn you down.
  • Beatiful sight and landscape. It is a must-see if you around in the area.
