Separating the Louvre from Place de la Concorde, Jardin des Tuileries are semi-formal French gardens that have survived centuries. Catherine de Medici created them in 1564, and they were revamped 100 years later. The gardens serve as a cultural walking space, where Maillol statues complement those by Rodin and Giacometti. To relax, go towards one of the benches at either of the two ponds, where people drive model boats on the water. For a quick snack, stop at one of the cafes, ice cream shops, or crépe stalls surrounding the space. The low cut of the impeccably manicured hedges around the statues allow you to photograph each one in full sunlight. Jardin des Tuileries Reviews
Detta är en oas i det annars trafikhysteriska Paris och en plats där man kan strosa i timmar och sitta ned i någon av de hundratals stolar som står utställda. more »This is an oasis in the otherwise traffic hysterical Paris and a place where you can stroll for hours and sit down in one of the hundreds of chairs that are exhibited.

Therefore I do not think that this garden is a place of cultivation. It is also a pity that the works are not categorized by theme. I will also say that there is too much nude and that we could have done a separate section. For the garden, this place of walk is not passed flowery against the different pools are pretty. There is also a lack of food courts, but the advantage is that the chairs are made available free of charge to the public.
Always superb and wonderful time here. The vast and professionally maintained landscape, intricate architecture of buildings around, the sweet fountain and the mostly responsible visitors made Tuileries Garden a must visit whenever in Paris. I admired how there was no trash in sight and how clean everything was. The air was wonderful during our visit there and the sun was out for a little while, providing nice respite from days of rain. From one end you'd reach The Louvres and the other, the obelisks. St. Honore is also just a few minutes walk from the garden.
Very lovely garden right outside the Louvre. The garden is giant and features many intricate statues placed throughout the area. It's an absolutely lovely and peaceful place to walk around or even go for a quick run if you'd like. I would definitely suggest spending some time in the garden and not just speeding off somewhere else immediately.
