Parc Argonne Decouverte, Olizy-Primat

I had a lovely time at the park with my family and daughter! It was much better than I expected, and the bird show was brilliant. First time I could see owls and big birds so close. The bouncing hammock was great for my daughter and also great for adults! We decided to have lunch at the restaurant. The food was tasty but service was chaotic. They only do 2 food services, and the waitresses were nice but one of them (probably the one in charge) was unkind and unprofessional, especially towards them in front of the costumers. That said, our overall experience was still great and we really enjoyed it!

Huge park with a marketing success. Can be done in 2 hours. Out of all those animals I have seen only the wolves and the birds (during the presentations). No other animals. The birds presentation was impressive. The farm is ok. The story teller was a waste of time as the kids arrived late and wanted to see wolves (instead they first had to listen to a fairy tale about the 3 pigs and the wolf before heading to finally see the wolves). The separate area for insects was way too dark and scary for kids. I think there should be either more light (which is difficult with those night creatures) or small kids should not be going to see giant spiders, etc). They have a fantastic playground for school age kids though. Highly recommend. Just a little warning, as the area is preserved in a very natural way, there are tons of insects and mosquitoes.
