schon der Eingang dieses architektonisch völlig missratenen Gebäudes, welches sicher hunderte von Millionen kostete, ist ein wahrer urinös riechender Müllplatz, das setzt sich innen fort. einfallslos ... more »even the entrance of this architecturally completely misguided building, which certainly cost hundreds of millions, is a true urinous smelling garbage place, which continues inside. Unimaginatively curated exhibition , dark escalators, huge but arbitrary in the exhibits, such an uninteresting museum of modern art have never really had to experience on a regular visit to such museums. it's not worth it! PS: there is no bistro or similar in Nice then the Matisse Museum, this is a must!
The best part about this museum is the rooftop terrace. That’s what makes it worth visiting. Apart from that, the museum lacks some care taking for all the little things: English description texts are blurry and contain typos. Direction signs seem improvised. The interior makes a shabby impression. Most art pieces seem to revolve around the confused artsy struggle: “art to study what is art and what is not”. So if you’re here on a sunny day, enjoy the rooftops terrace. Other than that, a walk in the neighbourhood might be more enjoyable
Eclectic art museum with a range of modern art. Some fascinating collections of very different styles and media. Nice building. The art on the roof was a little frightening as it is quite exposed and some of the elevated platforms felt a bit flimsy, not advisable for those scared of heights or small children.
