Almacar, Nantes

My wife offers me 3 laps in AC cobra for my birthday booked for September 14, 2019 at the Grand Sambuc near Aix. More than 2000km of travel and the chosen car is broken down when we arrive, a situation that can happen. Almacar's attendants then offer me another replacement car or a refund. Being passionate about the Cobra, I ask for a refund. The manager of Almacar promises me an email in the day or for the next day to inform me of the procedure to follow to obtain this refund. I waited 15 days and nothing. I had to call multiple times to get an answer, finally by insisting I finally promise a refund by cheque or by PayPal, the European transfer is not known at Almacar. Not being used to using PayPal, which I rarely use only for certain purchases, I then accept a check because no other choice. I am asked to return my contact information by email when they had already registered them. I wait a fortnight and still nothing, here I am left for exchanges of emails, repeated phone calls. I got the impression that my phone number is no grata. Using another number, I am finally picked up but to hear me say that there is an error in my address. Re sending the check and houra, about ten days later, it finally arrived. I go to the bank and the counter attendant advises me not to cash it because the fees are exorbitant to cash a cheque from abroad. (up - 80 degrees) I am Belgian and Belgium has not used the cheque for years. So I decide to send the check back to Almacar by recommended shipment to be sure that it does not sane and I take care to note on "cancel". So the first cheque came home as a result of the error of address and the 2nd sent back by recommended mail. We are still 15 days later, and still no reaction from them and I then checked the follow-up of the mail via the Belgian post site (bPost), I find that Almacar has received my mail well for 10 days. I am no longer surprised that I did not receive a sequel. I'm getting used to staying in the void with this company. Very angry and very disappointed at Almacar's cruel lack of professionalism, I allowed myself to express my anger and send a very explicit email of my various discontents and finally accepting with regret that they reimburse me on my Paypal because I very rarely use payment system. I don't even know what transaction to make to get that money back in my current account! Following email, their response was very reactive, the same day. This disastrous adventure lasted more than 2 months for a refund of 132 euros. All this for non-use of a car at more than 100,000 euros. You will understand that I am not ready to recommend Almacar to anyone!

Very pleasant experience. On the other hand, it's a pity that you can't watch the video (usb key bought 39) on any medium.
