  • Unfortunately the castle was not open while we were there (winter). Nevertheless we enjoyed watching the castle from outside and it's clear that the castle is worth a visit. We would love to visit...  more »
  • Visiting the castle and the undergrounds makes it a real trip back in time, the stones and lighting are amazing.  more »
  • Beautiful imposing ruin. Free parking nearby. You can walk all the way around, although the part in the woods at wet weather is not advisable. The Whole walk around it is about an hour.

  • Very surprising because from the outside we think that it is only an unworkable ruin, when in reality you can visit many rooms and corridors, and the whole is much larger than it seems. Beware of opening periods: it is only open during weekends in September and then closes. It opens again in the summer.
