Cathedrale de la Treille, Lille

To me this cathedral looks weird, being made of two different parts. The exterior looks very modern while the interior is a bit more like you would expect from a cathedral, with very few touches. I'm not saying they're not nice, i just think that they're both more beautiful individually than together. Interesting place nonetheless!

Weird cathedral than seems like a Frankenstein of a few different eras... I'm a fan of modern interventions in old buildings, and there are good examples of church renovations that are a lot more interesting and well executed. That main door facade looks completely out of place and not exactly integrated with the original building...
