Occupying over 150,000 sq m (1.6 million sq ft) of land and hangars, Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace is one of the oldest aviation museums in the world. The collection includes more than 19,500 items, including 150 aircraft, and materials going back to the 16th century. You can also view modern air and spacecraft, including a Concorde prototype and Swiss and Soviet rockets. The museum has the only known remaining piece of L'Oiseau Blanc. • Great museum for young and old. However, the entire part of the old art deco terminal was closed for work in reducing the entrance fee. Not air-conditioned

  • Concorde also has one aircraft on display at Charles de Gaulle Airport, but the museum has two indoor displays, each of which can be seen on board. In addition, b747 aircraft and airplanes and helicopters during the war are also on display, you can play in the vast site full of sight. There were a lot of groups of elementary school students who seemed to be schools in the neighborhood, and there were a lot of families, so i think it's a good place to relax and see the hustle and bustle of Paris. Public transportation may be a little inconvenient with only buses, but it's worth going to once in the sense that it's a different aviation museum from Japan.

  • a great museum. Lots of pieces, lots of things to watch and learn. Fun to step in the Concorde. A great fit for anyone interested in space, aircraft and technology. A really great lesson in history giving perspective on what has been achieved. A bit far from central paris but worth it and easily accessible driving.
  • Very good except a number of planes on display had no information and we were not knowleable to know what they were. The A380 and Concorde were very good as we could enter the planes. It really was a good day out.
