A chapel built into the rocks at the entrance of Les Grottes de La Balme launches your caving excursion. Its placement is an architectural feat rare for the period. Formations inside the cave will also intrigue as you navigate stalagmites thrusting up from the floor and admire ceilings of dripping stalactites.
