  • Interesting church interior which was made in the 1960s. It started when a Dutch priest Mr Suasso was assigned to this "Eglise fortifiée St. Martin" in 1961. He was full of energy and started to modernise the church. He got his friend the Dutch writer and poet Bertus Aafjes involved who in turn asked artist Charles Eijck if he could do the decoration of the church. Charles Eijck took on the job and moved to the small village from July to Octobre 1962. In this period he made around 200 square meters of beautiful paintings on the walls and installed five stained glass windows. You can visit this hidden gem and by inserting some euro's in an automat at the door you can switch the lights on in the otherwise dark interior
  • Beautiful murals by Charles Eyck. Well first a 2 euro piece in the Automat otherwise it is dark.....
