These 4 km of road closed to traffic with on one side the saline and on the other the narrow beach are, in winter, an 'oase of peace and tranquility to enjoy in an almost unspoiled environment. You park (free of charge) in a large space and you start a pleasant paved (but pedestrian) road with striking views, flamingos in the saline and small sand dunes. Very popular with runners in winter is spectacular.View original -

This beautiful sandy beach connects the mainland to the island of Giens. The water is warm because the greve goes down a gentle slope for a pleasant swim. depending on the orientation of the wind it is an excellent "spot" for Kite surfing and wind surfing! Very nice view of the coast and the harbour of Toulon in the distance.View original
