  • I liked the chapel of former monastery as well as gardens. There are plenty of permanent and temporary exhibitions about life and culture of this region. Visit is free!  more »

  • A free to enter museum on the base of the hill with Bastille at the top. A short climb from the riverside brings you to the museum. It has many sections inside with the winter Olympics section being the major one. The displays take you through the winter Olympic event hosted by Grenoble with the help of artifacts and short movies. There was also a Japanese art exhibition in the other section. There is a nice courtyard in the centre of the building.
  • What an interesting and diverse place! We had a wonderful time seeing the exhibitions and enjoying the garden. Just mind the weekday and time of your visit - it can get somewhat crowded.
