Centuries-old civilizations have left their mark at Archaeological Museum, which sits on the site of Saint-Laurent church. The building attracted the attention of archeologists after a 6th-century crypt was found there in the 19th century. However, the site was used for rites and rituals even before Christianity, making it one of France's most notable archeological finds. Just north of the river you will find this treasure of a historic landmark. The place is free to visit, and they provide you with a free audio guide. The staff were very accommodating and spoke fluent English.

Such a great museum, and free! Only need an hour or so there, but definitely worth seeing. Staff were friendly and had free audio guides in English. Very unique in that it's built on an actual crypt, rather than stuff just displayed on a shelf.
