This forest is not like the other forests we are used to seeing and frequenting: it is clear, it is dry, it is fragrant, it is seductive, bewitching, bewitching, mysterious. For the free-spirited and open-minded walker who advances in the silence of the maritime pines, progression in the forest is a succession of sensations that speak to emotion, representation, imagination. Could it be because this forest is the heir to an ancient vast sea that, by retreating, has left this strange landscape before our eyes, populated by enigmatic figures, evocative silhouettes? If you don't like stone behemoths, mineral in general, climbing, difficulty, it may not be helpful to come to Fontainebleau. Here, you are not in the woods of Vincennes with these bourgeois "beautiful" who walk small dog dog turning in circles on themselves around a rumpupizing pond deserted by wild life and those Sunday sportsmen who slalom in the middle of the crowd of improbable walkers of the weekend, sliding on the flat of civilized, domesticated paved alleys. Fontainebleau is the forest of those who love the real change of scenery, the back in time, the real effort, the challenge of the arduous slopes, the onslaught of stone giants, the tumble of descents, the speed on the clear paths, the unknown of corners that mask the visibility of the upcoming route, the adventure of the course that deliver new things every time. The 25 moguls for example, it's not the 25 bumps of the camel but you have to be damn camel to do the 25 moguls, this course in vertical climb classified difficult, in one of the wildest areas of this vast forest, once traversed by men in Resistance. If you too are resisting something, whatever it is, opt for this course. You have to be seriously calibrated because this course offers all the challenges: it is a course of marathon runners, good climbers, descenders and sprinters where endurance, effort management and resource management...
